Adobe Creative Suite - Upgrade Your Computer!

Do you work on the web?  Maybe you are creating a web page for your family or running an entire store front, if so break free of the cookie-cutter templates available on the web and create a truly unique design yourself.  Adobe Creative Suite will help you design, create and edit a website or other creative project that will rival the work of the big corporations.  But Adobe Creative Suite is also a computer power hog so before you shell out the money and start your project make sure your computer hardware is ready.

You may think that Adobe Creative Suite is too large and confusing to use on your little web page or art project but in reality you will soon find reasons to use every piece of software in the suite.  Beyond editing your pictures in Photoshop and creating webpages with Dreamweaver, you and your family can draw pictures in Illustrator.  Soon you will find many uses for Adobe Creative Suite each day.  The rule for Adobe Creative Suite is this — the more you play with the software the more uses you will discover.  Allow Adobe Creative Suite bring out your artistic and creative side.

Many people are always looking for a “Photoshop Clone” but why would you settle for a clone or a lesser version when you can get the original and the best?  If you really are a true DIY computer fan, you send a lot of time and money on the best components for your computer, why not do the same with your software. Adobe Creative Suite will help you reach the level artistic creation and web design that will truly set your projects apart from all those templates every one else is using.

But what hardware do you need to run this software?  Some people may be put off by the list of system requirements but to really take advantage of all the options and possibilities Adobe Creative Suite will open up to you, you do need a top of the line computer.  For some of us, it’s time to upgrade!

1. Intel Pentium 4 processor.  Most CPUs that have been purchased and upgraded in the last year should be powerful enough to run Adobe Creative Suite.  You are going to want a lot of processor speed to run this software, there is nothing more frustrating then getting a flash of creativity and having to wait for your computer to catch up.

2. At least 1gb of of memory.  Adobe recommends at least 1gb to 2gb of RAM for this software but I believe that the more the merrier.  If you have a motherboard that will support 4gb of RAM, Adobe Creative Suite will use it all.

3. 22gb of hard drive space.  If you are going to edit video you need a dedicated a hard drive for the files.  Make sure you stock up on hard drives and storage space for all the videos and photos you will be taking of your family and friends.

4. 1280x1024 monitor.  LCD monitor pricing has gone down while the screen size has gone up, treat yourself to a widescreen LCD monitor and you will never be able to pull yourself away from your Adobe Creative Suite projects.
